End of an Era: Gaiman and Karma
It has been a long when I first heard about Gaiman’s dark secret. Allegations are one thing, investigation is another. But the truth always comes to light. The Vulture shared this piece and the new era in me began.
I won’t write about all the sick, evil things Gaiman has done to women, Vulture has done that. But to remind those lucky people who never had to experience sexual assault or rape, they start victim-blaming. Stop and think about this quote from Tara Brach:
“Imagine being bitten by a snake and instead of trying to help yourself heal and recover from the poison, you try to catch the snake, to find out the reason it bit you to prove to it that you didn’t deserve that.”
Karma is a bitch, and so are you, Neil.
Uh, that was harsh.
