Baby Reindeer Is The Sign
I don’t know how you feel about the average Netflix series, but I hate happy endings. Yeah, happy endings are comforting, but let’s face the truth: Happy endings are rare in nature and too common on TV.
Who Wrote It?
All the blockbusters come from the same place. All those feel-good movies were written by privileged people.
Well, a privileged life always works. Those have happy endings.
That’s why we get happy endings, too.
If you are surrounded by supporting people, they will save you.
They will figure out something for you.
Things will work. No matter what.
You find love. You find peace. You find a better life.
Every problem is solvable.
Happy Endings are rare in nature. I mean among common people.
We don’t get happy endings.
There is no love interest for everyone, and there is no sudden luck. Money is an issue, and problems remain unsolved.
I want more stories from people like Richard Gadd.
His honest, raw, unfiltered reality makes him relatable — enough of the perfect lies.
Let’s talk about abuse. Let’s talk about how blindly we want success. Let’s talk about the soulless grind. Let’s talk about failing, succeeding, and failing again.
Let’s talk about the one who got away because we feared being loved.
Let’s talk about how hard it is to face the truth.
Stories are meant to heal our wounds.
Unleash the true ones.
Netflix deserves a pat on the back for this one.
Thank you for reading, take care!
